João Carvalho has been immersed in the Amazon ecosystem since 2019, developing expertise across every stage of the journey, from product research and advertising to listing optimization and operations. After gaining hands-on experience as a freelancer supporting a wide range of Amazon sellers, João went on to launch and manage his own successful Amazon brands.
With a business degree from NOVA SBE, one of the world’s top 10 business schools, and a background as a procurement specialist, João combines strategic insight with practical know-how. His approach is rooted in data-driven decision-making and a founder’s mindset.
Today, as the founder of RankHero, João helps brands build, grow, and scale on Amazon through expert PPC management, conversion optimization, and full-service account support. His mission is to empower great products and great people to succeed in the world’s most dynamic marketplace.

With a business degree from NOVA SBE, one of the world’s top 10 business schools, and international experience across Europe and America, João combines global perspective and applied Amazon expertise. His deep knowledge of Amazon Advertising allows him to support brands with a results-driven, customer-first approach.
Today, as co-founder of RankHero, João leads client-facing strategy and ensures that every brand the agency works with receives tailored support, strategic clarity, and the execution needed to scale effectively in the world’s most competitive marketplace.
